Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Kampala – Murchison Falls national park
Just a 4 hours drive from Kampala to Masindi for your lunch before entering Murchison Falls national park. Upon your arrival pay a visit to the top of the falls. Overnight stay at Paraa safari Lodge.
Day 2: Game drive and launch cruise – Murchison Falls national park
Enjoy an early morning game drive in search for predators including lions, leopards, jackals and hyenas; and different antelope species, buffaloes, elephants, Rothschild Giraffe, Jackson Hartebeest, Oribis, etc. In the afternoon embark on a boat cruise as you game viewing at close range. Overnight stay at Paraa safari Lodge.
Day 3: Murchison to Kibale forest
In the morning transfer to Fort Portal in preparation for the next day’s chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park. Overnight stay at Mountains Of the Moon.
Day 4: Chimp tracking
In the morning start with a nature walk in the Bigodi wetland sanctuary for primates tracking and birding. In the afternoon go for chimp trekking in Kibale forest. Overnight stay at Mountains Of the Moon.
Day 5: Kibale forest to Queen Elizabeth national park
After breakfast drive to Queen Elizabeth national park for an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel for close. Overnight stay at Mweya Safari lodge.
Day 6: Game drive in QENP
After an early morning breakfast enjoy a game drive along the Kasenyi Track in search of lions feasting on the numerous antelopes that graze the vast grasslands. In the afternoon enjoy a nature walk in the crater area or a forest walk in Maramagambo forest. Overnight stay at Mweya Safari lodge.
Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha
After breakfast transfer to Ishasha in search for tree-climbing lions. Later proceed to Bwindi. Overnight stay at Silverback Lodge – Bwindi.
Day 8: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park
Spend a full day enjoying a gorilla trek in the Bwindi impenetrable forest. Overnight stay at Silverback Lodge – Bwindi.
Day 9: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
In the morning, after breakfast, traverse the scenic Kigezi highlands to Lake Bunyonyi. Enjoy an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi with a visit to the pygmies (Batwa people) for cultural entertainment. Overnight stay at Arcadia Cottages.
Day 10: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park
After breakfast transfer to Lake Mburo national for an afternoon boat cruise – you will able to see a lot of wildlife at close range. Overnight stay at Arcadia Cottages – Lake Mburo.
Day 11: Game drive in Lake Mburo
Enjoy a morning game drive and a nature walk. In the afternoon transfer back to Kampala.
Day 12: This day you may choose to enjoy an excursion to Ngamba Chimpanzee Island or a Jinja city tour. Overnight stay at Cassia Lodge.
Day 13: Reserved for Kampala city tour and airport drop for your scheduled flight.
