3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking, Uganda Gorilla Tour

DAY 1: ENTEBBE – KAMPALA – BWINDI

Gorilla Tours Uganda On arrival at Entebbe, you will received by our representative then, travel to Kampala before departing to Bwindi, which is around an 8-9hour journey. Enroute, a stop over at the Equator for an informative talk and photos will be a recipe before continuing to Mbarara where you will stop for lunch. You drive through savannah grasslands seeing banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle with their incredible long horns as well as evergreen mountain country reffered to as the “Switzerland of Uganda” because of its coldness. Arrive in Bwindi National.Park late evening for dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Camp Bandas.

DAY 2: GORILLA TREKKING /TRACKING

After early morning breakfast, with packed lunch, go to the station for registration and briefing before beginning the trekk. Pushing your way through thick creeper and heavy undergrowth, in steep and muggy condition, it may take around 6 hours as you do the trekking,before you encounter any gorillas. If you have the afternoon free, you may decide to take a guided walk on the Munyanga River trail, which is an ideal short walk or take a guided village walk to interact with Ugandans. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: DEPARTURE

After a morning breakfast, depart for Kampala ,with a stop over in Mbarara where you will have lunch before proceeding. You can drop to your hotel in Kampala or continue to Entebbe airport take a flight back if it is in arrangement.
This will mark the end of the memorable tour to Bwindi national park.
