4 Day Rwanda Tour, 2 gorilla treks & Golden Monkeys

ITINERARY
DAY 1: Transfer from the Airport.
You will be welcomed by one of our professional drives/guides upon arrival at Kigali airport, then proceed to Kigali for a city tour, visit gisozi genocide memorial museum and later drive north of Rwanda to Volcanoes National Park viewing spectacular scenery of the Virunga Mountains en route. Dinner and overnight stay at Muhabura Guest House (Budget) / Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge (Deluxe) / Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (Luxury).

DAY 2: Gorilla tracking and departure.
Breakfast and head to the park headquarters with packed lunch to be briefed about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas then proceed to track the gorillas. Sight and stay with these Gentle Giant Apes is 1 hour. After lunch, we can take an evening walk to the beautiful twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo, or visit local markets in Ruhengeri and interact with the local community. Dinner and overnight stay at Muhabura Guest House (Budget) / Hotel La Palme (Deluxe) / Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (Luxury).

DAY 3: Second Gorilla trek.
Breakfast at the lodge and proceed for a second gorilla tracking adventure. You can choose to track the same gorilla family as the previous day, or choose a different group. Return to the lodge, relax as we wait for dinner & overnight.

DAY 4: Golden monkey tracking or visit Dian Fossey Tombs, Departure.
After breakfast, you will go to track the golden monkeys in the bamboo forest. Return to the lodge for lunch and leave for Kigali (Hotel or airport) where the tour ends.
