4 day Uganda Gorilla Tour, Bwindi Double Gorilla Trekking

DAY 1. Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park.
After your breakfast you will travel to south western Uganda. Lunch en route Mbarara. Proceed to Bwindi forest for Dinner and overnight stay at Gorilla forest camp, Silverback lodge or Buhoma Community Rest Camp.

 

DAY 2.First gorilla Trek & community walk
Enjoy your early morning breakfast and head to the park headquarters with your packed lunch to be briefed about the “dos and don’ts” when you are with gorillas. Penetrate the Impenetrable Forest of Bwind in search for these Gentle Giants, taking 2-8 hours depending on their movement. Sight and stay is one hour maximum for observation and photographing. Time permitting, enjoy a remarkable nature walk in the Batwa community (pygmies). Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge on DAY 1.

 

DAY 3. Second Gorilla Trek.
This is your day for a second gorilla trek in the impenetrable Bwindi Forests. You can choose to visit the same gorilla group as yesterday or choose a different family. We can relax in the evening at the lodge, or take a remarkable forest walk for birds. Dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 4: Transfer to Kampala.
Have a nice relaxed final morning, where we can just soak in the ambiance of the place, reflect back upon the adventures of our past days, then hit the road back to Kampala with enroute lunch in Mbarara town, stop at the equator for photographs and Mpambire drum makers, here you can buy yourself some crafts as souvenirs.
